Samantha Hamilton, Functional Health Nurse

Serving South-East Wisconsin

Samantha has worked in the traditional western medicine model as a Registered Nurse and a Undergraduate nursing instructor. After working in the traditional healthcare system for the last 15 years Samantha believes that our allopathic care model is best suited for acute care, not health promotion. Being on the receiving end of the healthcare, the gaps in care became evident.

Samantha has two children of her own, both of which deliveries were a traumatic experience. She has also experienced having her babies in the NICU. Additionally, Samantha experienced the sudden loss of her mother in 2017. During her Functional Medicine training, Samantha came to understand the importance of nervous system regulation and how dysregulation from acute, chronic, and traumatic stress can lead to adrenal fatigue often called hypothalamic-pituitary axis dysfunction. With her own experiences and continued education, Samantha has learned how to heal the adrenals and start feeling better again.

My goal is to bridge the gap between Western medicine and natural medicine. Because Western medicine will save your life, not change your life.
